“It is said
that in the beginning Lilith was Adam’s mate
formed by God before Adam’s very eyes. But Adam, seeing Lilith
formed from bone to sinew to flesh was repulsed and rejected her and she
was cast from Eden and hid in the darkness and became known as Mother
Night. The Watchers, angels whom God had elected to watch over man saw
Lilith and found her fair and seduced her and
she became their bride and from her womb came the Children of Nod whom
are the Elders of the vampyre race. God upon seeing what had transpired
became angered and sent Enoch from the heavens to proclaim his judgment
upon the Watchers and the children of Nod for they had begun cruel practices
and the Watchers had taught them devices of war and manners of magicks.
The Watchers were condemned to roam the earth forever never being able
to ascend to heaven until the final judgment. To prevent the Children
of Nod from destroying mankind God sent a flood that encompassed the earth
yet some of the Children of Nod survived in high places and among them
was Cain, who, when the floods passed, conspired with the select few to
imprison the Watchers and the first line of Elders into tomes deep within
the bowels of the earth using the very magicks that they had been taught.
It is said that Cain did this for absolution over slaying his brother,
Able for he too was cursed to roam the earth and carried God’s mark on
his forehead so that none would slay him. This act caused the Great Rift
among the Vampyres and they warred against each other. The Select Few walked
into the Great Fire and destroyed themselves so the secret of the whereabouts
of the tomes would be only with Cain and they knew that no one would harm
him because of the mark. ...
The War continues to this day....” |
